Performance Management

The importance of maximising the contribution of each employee has never been greater. Having an effective performance management system, with managers able to operate it successfully, is therefore vital.

With extensive experience of performance management systems, Spruce is well equipped to support in the design and introduction of systems to enable organisations to optimise employee contribution.

We have designed and delivered courses to over 500 managers in the UK and over 200 in South Africa and Indonesia.

Coaching and Counselling

We offer both one to one coaching and courses to equip managers to coach effectively. Our experience of one to one coaching is extensive, ranging from Chief Executives to first line managers.

Counselling

Spruce has recently designed and delivered a series of courses for an organisation introducing harassment contact officers, equipping them with the counselling skills and knowledge required for this role. We also have extensive experience of training those requiring counselling and investigation skills, including HR professionals and Welfare Officers.

Leadership and Team Programmes

Spruce designed and delivered a series of leadership programmes to a range of clients in the UK and overseas, including South Africa and Croatia. Approaches included personality profiling and 360° feedback.

We have also run over 300 team events, enabling teams to become more effective, more focussed and hence more successful. These have included team profiling, team exercises and action planning.

Change and Stress Management

We have recently provided a series of change management and stress management courses in support of a major reorganisation, resulting in significant downsizing.

In addition, Spruce has given outplacement support, including equipping employees with the marketing skills required to enable a career change. This included CV writing, interview guidance and confidence building.
